Simply Stated...

The entire point of going to a football game is to sing the national anthem, and then sit in a car to thaw out and talk.

I don't know why they call it a football game, as though a game of football actually takes place?

well it wouldn't be that way if all you losers (choir kids not just you) were actually interested in the game.

True. But we seem happier than those who are watching "the game".

that's because high school football sucks. if you did that at a real game you'd get shot.

Yeah, i was just talking to one of my friends about how no one ever watches the game. I'll pause every once in a while to note that Keegan is playing, and cheer for him since he's really the only friend I have on the team, but the rest of the time I talk, and talk, and talk. Whatever.

And then there's me, and I never go at all. Oh my gosh, Lauren, 34 days!!?? Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

@mike: That's one more reason I would never consider going to a real football game.
@bree: I only have one friend on the team too, and I have no idea what number he is. I like the talking idea the best anyway.
@erika: Join choir. :D Or start a rubix cube club and schedule yourself to perform at halftime. If I weren't forced to go I probably wouldn't be at football games either.
