Ho-Hum and Ferrets

Erika has been imploring me to update my blog more often. Sorry, Erika.

I guess I haven't had much to say.

Finals are today, tomorrow, and Friday. Today I had Orchestra, Biology, and Spanish. I'm not yet sure how Orchestra final went yet, but I know that Bio is going to turn out fine and so is Spanish. Tomorrow is Geometry and Civics. I'll also get to watch 10th grade Honors English's notorious semester presentations. That should be fun.
Apparently this is proof for why I haven't been posting much lately. As for Geometry, I have never really liked math that much (sorry again, Erika), but I still do okay in it.

I found this somewhere on the Internet:
Wed Dec 14,12:55 PM ET
BERLIN (Reuters) - A 19-year-old German girl has sued her mother for confiscating her two guinea pigs, a dog and a litter of puppies and giving them to an animal home, authorities said Wednesday.

The girl had taken to locking the creatures in her room after the recent birth of the puppies angered the mother, but she returned at the weekend to find them gone, according to police in the western city of Aachen.

The mother, 45, signed an agreement with the home stipulating that the pets could not be given back, they added.
"The police is both investigating and mediating," said police spokesman Paul Kemen.

The ferret in my Biology class is dying. It's sad. I peeked in at him before I left school. He was all nestled up in his blankets, breathing slowly. The towel smelled of urine because he had lost control of his functions. He has already lost most of his hair and his eyesight was failing, but that was in part due to malnutrition from his previous owner. Mrs. Boley had only had him for about two weeks. When he first came to our classroom he would waddle around from shoe to shoe, looking for food left on the floor. He was a pretty cute little critter.

I hate knowing when something's going to die.

Thanks Lauren : ) Although, come to think of it, that was a pretty depressing post. I feel very special now that I am mentioned on your blog. I think you should bring your camera to school some day and take pictures of random things.

Next time I'll try to mention you in a happier post.

I've thought about bringing my camera to school before, but I've always had some qualm that prevented me from actually bringing it. Maybe tomorrow, since it's a short day...
